It’s that time of year to start planning things to do this summer. I am beyond excited to get to spend the first full summer at home with my kiddos. I have already started thinking about things to do this summer that are free or cheap. I decided to compile a list of free things to do this summer.

- Go for a walk
- Go to a local park
- Go to a local splash pad- near me they are free at several parks
- Go to the library
- Have a scavenger hunt
- Play hide and seek
- Go hiking
- Go to a State Park
- Make a craft with supplies you already have
- Movie and PJ day- my kids love this!
- Game day-play board games. card games, or other games you already have
- Outdoor family game night
- Have a baking day-make homemade cupcakes, cake, cookies, and frosting
- Have a reading challenge
- Play “I spy”
- Play “Simon says”
- Play tag
- Make homemade play dough
- Do a science experiment
- Make homemade popsicles
- Plant seeds you find outside or in your food and watch them grow

- Climb trees
- Go on an adventure! My 4yr old loves doing this through our woods.
- Camp in the backyard
